Our Stay: What it was really like

We arrived late after the drive from out of town to a packed, snow-covered parking lot and icy walkways. Check-in moved slowly with one staff member and mandated paper forms, but we eventually got into our room and settled in.

The Room

Better than expected.

  • Clean
  • Good layout
  • Mini-fridge + Wi-Fi
  • Thin walls and loud beds if you or your neighbor move at night

Not luxury, but genuinely comfortable for a ski weekend.

Amenities We Tried

The pool was closed when we arrived, and the hot tub was completely drained. A little disappointing, but the game room redeemed the evening, air hockey and arcade games were fun, just bring cash and plan to buy tokens.

Checkout mirrored check-in: slow, understaffed, and out of coffee. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable.

Pros & Cons

  • Parking lot icy and crowded during heavy snow
  • Website booking process is confusing

Would We Stay Here Again?

Yes, particularly if a lodging or lift-ticket promo surfaces again. This lodging is comfortable, close to the mountain, and easy for a ski-focused trip.

How to Score Deals at Brian Head Lodge

When we stayed, they were running a free stay at the lodge. Now, they are running a ski free with 2-night stay. Check the website often as deals change.
